...talking to trees....

Lately I have been talking to trees - or rather trees are a major interest of mine - following a senior course on forestry - my life long attachment to Nature was re_inforced.

Now more knowing about their growing patterns, favorite soil & water conditions, species names etc - my observation of a tree is more conscious  - including considerations in regard to age, health, fruits, roots etc.

Mostly I cant help picking something of a plant - be it a leave, a nut, a flower and bringing it with me visibly in hand - and thats actually my key point - having noticed how people look at me - "Look he is holding some green stuff in his hand - thats weird" - NO folks, thats actually not weird - thats called natural  and has been for centuries.

Even my mum recently called me a tree_man - in sort of a teasing way - but to me that was an honourable title - though I dont consider myself to be an Ent - just yet :)
